I am enjoying tremendously making aceo cards,which are small cards measuring 2.5"X3.5".these are actually miniature paintings but easier for those who want to collect art because its so affordable.

Disappointed

I was very discouraged and disappointed as i was not getting any trafic to my blog and didnt know how to get trafic,I am ok with computer.but as it gets complicated I get more confused,As I know only the basics of computer thats understandable.Need help and guidance.I am a member at www.boundlessgallery.com,www.artbreak.com,www.deviantart.com,flicker.com,also i have ebay store by the name of Tohidas Creations.

Sorry to be away from my blog for so long.I am seriously thinking of locking myself everyday to do some serious art.

Portrait

I am still stuck with my portrait,I am not getting the effect I want.First thing is I am doing the portraits again after a gap of 20 years.So it will take some time to get back in to the seat.will post it after I am done.

Art Galleries in Manhattan NY

I spent all day today in Manhattan.Went to pickup my paintings from World Fine Arts Gallery where i just finished my month long exhibition.Chelsea area is all but galleries and more galleries.You can explore for weeks and still will not be finished.I am going to do it in summer.

Well I did promise myself that I will do a painting a day,but forgot to mention that i have to finish a couple of commision first.I have to finish a childs portrait and two big paintings.As soon I am done with them i will start with my painting a day.I have also entered 8 paintings in Agora Art Gallery's International Fine Arts competition.

Hi, sorry to be away for so long,been very very busy.I am in the process of moving my studio downstairs to be more easily accessable.Will start creating soon.

Need advice

I got an email from some person who is interested in buying one of my painting.He wanted to on behalf of a client,but want to pay me by check.Check will be more than my asking price,he wants me to deduct my price honestly and send him back the balance through Western Union.My daughter who works in the bank advised me not to do it as it could be bank fraud, and i could be held responsible for fraud,but I already snet back the email that i would accept.then i sent another emial telling thje buyer that i cannot accept the check but will accept payment by pay pal.Did i do the right thing or I will lose the buyer.

As i wrote last time that i am going to be busy with new arrival in our family.My granddaughter Fiza,oooh she is bundle of joy.will get back to my one a day painting next week.

One A Day Painting - 01/15/2008

Inspired by so may artist in their blogs I have decided to start my "One Painting" or "One Creation A Day" today. Time is 10:30 am. I am hoping to post something on the blog by the evening. That is if my daughter does'nt go into labor. We are expecting a little princess. Oh boy I can't wait to hold my first grandchild. Wish me luck.
I was able to complete my study of flower.I have been planning to create a series of paintings for quite some time.The theme is flowers.I am quite an ethusiastic gardener.I love spring and summer and all the colors of nature at that time.I am ot quite satisfied with the result.I guess i will keep trying till i get what I want.Only then I will make large paintings.Wish me luck.
